Richard Therriault and Jason Vandiver along with the City Council members really showed their support and compassion during this disaster.      We also want to thank the Temple Fire Department for literally being on the spot when the house collapsed. Thanks to them there were no casualties. One fireman rescued a cat named Spooky who's paw was trapped between the floor and the wall when the house fell. Spooky is doing fine even though her paw is slanted.      There are quite a few donors who wish to remain anonymous but your contribution(s) are very much appreciated. We are grateful to everyone who helped us. I'm still digging through my notes and will be adding more names to the list. I don't want to forget anyone who contributed to salvaging the Rose Garden!
